Eastern Setcrete has been synonymous with high quality sodium silicate, acid slurry and other allied products for over 50 years. These in turn, are crucial ingredients for the manufacture of certain construction chemicals.

To provide further value addition, Eastern Setcrete embarked on a vertical integration programme and started manufacturing construction chemicals on its own five years ago. Within this short span of time, the product has started setting benchmarks for the industry and has succeeded in carving a niche for itself in the hearts of quality conscious and blue chip clients like Gammon India Ltd., L & T, Jaiprakash Associates Ltd., Taisei, Impregilo SPA, Patel Engg. Co. and HCC to name a few.

• Tunnelling products required in hydroelectric projects, including capsules for rock stitching.
• Manufacture of mid range water reducing admixtures fo"r Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) and high range water reducer for pre- stressed concrete (PSC) required in road projects, culverts and bridges for both sub-zero and hot weather conditions.
• Manufacture of super plasticizers with polycarboxylate ethers that can almost indefinitely put fresh concrete to sleep and also enable water reduction of upto 40% to give ultra-high strength.
• Zero alkali accelerators in liquid and powder forms that are eco-friendly and also drastically reduce rebound loss, prevent future possibility of alkali-aggregate reaction and unlike conventional silicates, enable nozzlemen to shotcrete for much higher thicknesses at one go.
• Isophthalic resin cartridges that bond and set with a wide variety of rock substrates in moist and sub-zero temperatures.
